This is a very unpleasant issue, and has many causes.
It is important that your practitioner, when taking your anamnesis, orientates himself about the possible cause.
Often the case is not about vertigo, but dizziness.
Causes may lie in the ENT region, but can also be connected with neurologic, systemic, haemotologic or cardiovascular diseases, anxiety conditions etc.
Diagnosing in the ENT region includes a complete ENT examination, hearing measurement (whether you have a feeling your hearing has decreased or not), so-called otoneurologic testing and calorimetry.
The diagnostic protocol often also requires other examinations and additional diagnostics, and it is very important that your practitioner knows this, so you will not loose valuable time needed for your treatment.
